So I've come to terms with a lot of things, these past few years. I've learned that things can't be obtained through wishing, but it can be obtained by doing. I've learned that in order to go far, you need to be in tact with yourself, not with others and their expectancies. Also, I've learned that things are far from what we're used to or adapted to, especially what our perception is of success and happiness. In order to fix things, you need to understand them. You can't fix anything without knowing what it is first. People suck. I know. But shitty people are everywhere. The ones who aren't completely terrible are the ones we hold near and dear. For whatever reason. Life goes on, People move on, Opportunities go by and we extend an open hand, hoping we catch the best. We're all human, and humans can be awful, but to some out there, bravo for making yourself a respectable person. There are beautiful things outside of where you are now, so go look. Don't be stuck in your comfortable safety blanket, look your fear dead in the eye and say, "I'm stronger than anything that comes my way, especially you" Don't let people bring you down, they'll get over it. Do what is good for you. Work for you. Reward yourself. Sleep well and know that things will be alright in the morning. maybe the next week or month. One day you'll wake up and realize everything you ever dreamed of having is right there, surrounding you. In the end we'll laugh at all of the stupid fucked up things that happened to us and thank whatever those things may be because it got you where you are.
